Our tutors gave us a street style assignment to familiarize with us the areas of Manchester, and though I got a whole lot of "no" there were some kind souls who helped me out. I just wanted to post some of the highlights somewhere before I delete them on my camera, which doesn't do much justice to the colors they all were sporting. Now, off to find some employment......

Finnieston Lanes

Just a wee swatch of personal photo shoot of the collection. Thank god it was sunny! I had the wonderful Marisa Privitera doing photography, Claudia Nova doing makeup, and Daisy Belcher and Rachel Eustace allowing me to take a Saturday of em. For now the collection is packed away for a Manchester destination. It was a lovely way to say goodbye to Glasgow....

Final Collection...............

TA DA! It's done! Finished! KAPUT! Here's a few photos done by Chris James at the Kelvingrove Museum and Gallery in Glasgow. Models are: Lauren McKelvie, Racheal Eustace, and Morgan Renwick. On July 9th I will be doing another photo shoot of the collection with Marisa Priviteria Murdoch behind the lens for detailed shots since the actual print on the fabric is barely visible here, but till then!.x.

Annie Potts was every where when I was a kid, and I loved her! Still do! I grew up watching her with mom every Thursday on Designing Women. I'm keeping her in mind for the summer,so enjoy the lovely southern comfort of Annie Potts! Hope you love her like do!:

   I did some DIY on the collection shoes. Primark had these shoes for £18 pounds. The wedged heel was spray painted black on all three versions. 1st pair black miniature picture frames 2nd pair pink miniature cutlery 3rd pair pink miniature doorknobs. Come down to the Cardonald fashion show at kelvingrove museum and art gallery June 4th and 5th to see the collection intact.

Little House

    First outfit finished! Three more to go! Unfortunately I had to use myself for this photo shoot to meet a college deadline, I'm hoping it will be redone with an actual model who fits it and the shoes.x.

PAPA

I spotted this dollhouse in the Watermelon shop window on Great Western Road. If only I had seen this six months ago the theme would have an entirely different look. When I started research for the collection in June, the dollhouse related material available was modern or victorian colours like dark browns with pink and blue  pastels.On a RARE occassion I came across the 70's style dollhouse.A few days after finding this house I was looking through old family photos finding a few of my dad going through his Sly Stallone phase. I'm happy to see this 70's revival catching on with Marni, Marc Jacobs, and Rodarte.
